What have you learned outside of school?

I feel like most of the important things in my life were never taught in school. I learned them elsewhere, through people, experiences, and the world around me. Kindness, empathy, courage, and understanding didn’t come from textbooks, but from living, observing, and connecting. For me, public space is not just a place we pass through, it is a space of learning, where we encounter each other, reflect, and grow.

What should we talk about more in public?

We should talk more about the loneliness we carry, even when we are surrounded by others. About the moments of not being understood, and the quiet distance that can exist between people. If we allowed these conversations to surface, even gently, public space could become a place not only of movement, but of shared humanity, where we realise we are not as alone as we sometimes feel.
